MI Auto Application Upload
Notes/Clarification 01-09-06
Below you will find some clarifications on the
upload procedure through the MI Comparative Rater.
Wisconsin Mutual does not receive any
information from the application portion of the rater. ONLY THE
QUOTING PORTION OF THE RATER. For example, we do not receive any
remarks, lienholder information, employer information or other policy # for Auto/Home discount.
If any further information is needed please send an email to
jelietz@wiins.com with the
information. If any EFT forms or Clue reports are needed they may
also be emailed to that address or faxed to 608-831-1734, please reference
that it is for an uploaded application.
A request has been put into MI about adding a
Comment field where further notes can be made, eliminating the need for
the extra step of sending and email. Any change will be announced
if/when it is made.
The Date Quoted field on the General
tab needs to be changed to reflect the Effective Date of application.
By default all applications come to us with the current date as the
effective date unless changed. We do not receive the date that is
changed on the application side.
The Applicant Name can be different
than the Primary Driver field. By default the MI Rater lists
the Primary Driver as the Named Insured. The Primary Driver
field may be changed on the Driver tab, then rated, and uploaded.
We will then receive the specified information. Anytime the
General tab is viewed and entered again it will reset the Primary
Driver field. Just remember to always change the Primary
Driver field after any changes are done to the General tab.
Deposit Premium is required to be uploaded the
same day that the application is uploaded. This is done through the
Deposit Premium feature on-line. The money will be swept from
your account that was registered for Agency Sweep. If you
will be mailing in any other home/umbrella or other applications for the
applicant, you may deposit all of the deposit premium on-line. There
are specified fields for each type. Please note on the other
applications that a matching application was uploaded and deposit premium
was submitted on-line.
