Twelve Month Term w/Billing Terms - 04-07-10

Effective 5-1-10, for Home, Dwelling Fire, Farmowner, Businessowner, and Artisans,  Wisconsin Mutual is eliminating the Three and Six Month Terms and changing to a Twelve Month Term with premium payment installments.

The twelve-month term, which is industry standard, will benefit policyholders in a couple of ways.  Any rate increase or company initiated cancellation, other than cancellation for non payment of premium, can now only be done on the twelve month renewal date, rather than three or six months.

The change to a twelve-month policy term will not affect how policyholders pay their policy premium.  They will continue to receive a declaration approximately 25 to 30 days before a premium installment is due.  This declaration that they'll receive is a billing reminder.  You will also continue to receive a declaration when your policy renews or changes are made to your policy.
